Offering 3 one-week camps. Intro to Music – Students will have the opportunity to try out a variety of musical instruments from the woodwinds, brass, strings, and percussion families. Intermediate Camp – Students with at least one year of music experience with a concert band or stringed instrument will enjoy engaging, multisensory instruction in the elements of music with the benefit of group participation. Students will learn music history and gain proficiency in music theory and technique. Advanced Camp – For current Wind Ensemble or Chamber Strings students. Students currently in an intermediate group may attend with director approval. Dates: July 24th - 28th

Join us for an exciting, fun-filled week of music and theater with an outstanding faculty that includes Allen Pote, Emily Mixon, Tom Long, and Susan Pote. Participants will perform a new original musical, "FIRED UP!- The Story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego." In addition to rehearsing and performing the show, the registration fee includes master classes in dance, drama, music, and stagecraft; and two tickets to the final performance. Camp dates are June 26-July 1, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with performances on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Open to students who have completed 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th grade. Limited Space Available.. Cost : $200. Proceeds benefit Encore, The Pensacola Children's Chorus Alumni Association.
